rest
I know it's tempting to tell yourself you have to be productive all the time. Always producing, always competing, always in a hurry. But who are you competing with? Who is going to be impressed by the burnt out shell that you become? Who is going to pat you on the back and say good job? Your boss? Your parents? The people whose validation you used to crave?
And if you do receive the acclamation, if you do get the validation... will it ever be enough? Will you ever prove your worth to yourself?
There is only one person in your life who is truly permanent. You. Take care of yourself, and love yourself, and live life. Don't spend it chasing something which, once possessed, loses all of its worth.
There will always be another hill to climb. There will always be another mountain. Make sure you rest at the bottom first.
What are you in a hurry for? To die?
